The Staff Engagement and Wellbeing Committee is pleased to confirm details for our upcoming summer engagement event, taking place on Tuesday 2 September, 12.00 – 4.30pm. This date was selected following a recent poll with department committee representatives as the most suitable for all teams, and while we appreciate not everyone will be able to make it we hope as many as possible can.
This year’s summer session will focus on creativity, collaboration, and skills development, delivered in partnership with Belfast Exposed.
Event outline:
- 12:00pm – Arrival at Belfast Exposed Gallery, welcome, and introduction to the activity, including a briefing from Belfast Exposed
- 1:00pm – Photo team challenge commences
- 2:30–3:30pm – Return from the challenge for a late lunch at The Northern Whig (ensure you have a big breakfast!)
- 4:00–4:30pm – Announcement of winners, feedback from the judging panel
The afternoon is designed to reinforce key aspects of our digital and brand strategy, particularly the role of high-quality imagery in engaging audiences and user generated content, while providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues and the city.
