Game of Thrones Studio Tour is proud to celebrate an exceptional year in 2024, surpassing the 250,000 visitor mark since opening and retaining its five-star status. The studio’s success was further highlighted by winning three awards at the NI Social Media Awards, including Best Social Media Campaign in Tourism, and earning the title Tourism Partner of the Year at the prestigious Asia Matters Business Awards.
Game of Thrones Studio Tour is delighted to share this success and prioritise its commitment to the wider community. During the festive season, they recognised the dedication of community champions by gifting tickets to local schools, sports clubs and charities.
This donation has already made a significant impact, particularly through partnerships with Netball NI and the Irish Football Association (IFA). Netball NI has used the complimentary tickets to raise funds for local teams, whilst the IFA has used the donation to reward the dedication of football volunteers across Northern Ireland.
Teachers, classroom assistants, and support staff from eighteen local schools are also being invited to discover the magic of the tour with complimentary admission. This initiative offers these hardworking individuals, who dedicate so much to their communities, a well-deserved opportunity to take time for themselves and enjoy a world-class, homegrown attraction. Tickets have also been provided to volunteers from the Studio Tour’s corporate charity partner USPCA, recognising their invaluable contributions.
