This September, families can experience big adventures for less as W5, Belfast’s award-winning science and discovery centre, announces its £8 September Saver ticket offer. Perfect as a back-to-school treat, a day at W5 is the ultimate reward for curious kids and fun-loving families.
From 4-28 September, visitors can unlock a world of wonder with eight interactive zones and over 250 hands-on exhibits designed to spark imaginations and inspire curiosity. Little explorers, and big kids too, can experiment, create, and discover together in an unforgettable day out.
And the excitement doesn’t end there. Due to huge demand, W5 has extended its hit summer experiences Dinosaurs Survive and Puffin Rock Summer. Families now have even more time to come face-to-face with roaring prehistoric predators and step into the colourful world of Oona, Baba, and friends.
Experience the Thrill of Dinosaurs Survive
Roar into adventure this September with Dinosaurs Survive, running on weekends until 28 September at W5.
Step into a world where dinosaurs roam again and feel the thrill of being surrounded by towering, roaring prehistoric giants. In the Carnivore Enclosure, come face-to-face with fierce predators like the agile Velociraptors, the mighty T. Rex, and the fierce Carnotaurus.
Head up to the IAPD Headquarters to uncover how dinosaurs returned to Belfast. Our expert dinosaur handlers will introduce you to some playful young dinos, and if you’re lucky, you might even witness some baby dinosaurs hatching from their eggs!
Dinosaurs Survive is a family-friendly experience featuring a self-guided walk-through area and a live show in W5’s Lecture Theatre and is included with general admission to W5.
Dive Into the Wonderful World of Puffin Rock
Oona has extended her visit to W5! Join her on a magical adventure this month, running on weekends until 28 September.
Say hello to Oona the puffin at Meet and Greet sessions, where you can give her a high-five, a big hug, and pose for a photo with the star of the hit animated children’s show!
Plus, learn to draw your favourite animal characters at Sketch Club, settle in at the Story Corner as our friendly storyteller brings Oona and Baba’s adventures to life with illustrated versions on screen for little ones to follow along, cosy in at Cartoon Cove with non-stop Puffin Rock episodes and more!
