Belfast Harbour has become the latest business to sign up to the JAM Card initiative as part of an ongoing commitment to ensure greater accessibility for people with learning difficulties and communication barriers. Staff at Belfast Harbour – including Belfast Harbour Police Officers – have received training to manage enquiries and approaches from people presenting JAM Cards, which were created by the NOW Group to allow people to tell others, in a discreet and easy manner, that they need more time or assistance.
