Arts Night at the Museum is happening at North Down Museum, Bangor on Friday 22nd March. The museum will throw open its doors to artists and art lovers at this popular event which gives everyone the opportunity to have a go at art!

The unique event will give visitors the chance to experience a whole range of art activities – expect everything from screen printing to clay work, sketching to jewellery-making, digital art and more!

Watch the artists at work or have a go yourself, guided by the experts. This free event is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to get creative.

The historic museum building will be filled with art to experience, participate in or observe at this fun, relaxed event for the whole family. Unleash your inner artist as you explore the museum and its galleries.

Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Arts Officer, Patricia Hamilton, said: “We love arts night! This event for all ages gives everyone the opportunity to have a go with art in a relaxed atmosphere, in a beautiful building. It’s fun and free!”

The museum’s café, Coffee Cure will also open on the evening serving light meals, snacks and beverages. There will also be live music in the café throughout the evening.  The event runs from 6pm to 8pm.

Admission is free and for all activities. No booking is required.
