The search to find Northern Ireland’s top hospitality hot spots is under way as Hospitality Ulster launches its second annual Top 100 Hospitality Businesses awards for 2019.

Building on the success of the inaugural Top 100 Hospitality Businesses in February, the awards will shine the spotlight on Northern Ireland hospitality at its best.

From Michelin starred restaurants and five-star hotels to buzzing city centre nightclubs, gastropubs, quaint country pubs and hotels, Hospitality Ulster’s Top 100 will celebrate the increasing quality, diversity and regional spread of our top hospitality venues.

Nominations open today, Friday 21st September, and the public are being called on to put forward the hospitality business or businesses they feel deserve a place in the Top 100.
The awards will recognise businesses who, through their premises, staff and product offering, encompass the very essence of Northern Ireland’s unique hospitality industry, going the extra mile to deliver a great customer experience that matches both their target market and customer demographic. Nominations can be made in five categories: Rural Pub, Urban Pub and City Pub, Licensed Restaurant and Hotel.

New for 2019, Hospitality Ulster has assembled a panel of industry experts to aid them in the search. Headed up by Northern Ireland food critic, Joris Minne (Belfast Telegraph), the panel includes celebrity chef Paula McIntyre, Irish News journalist and food columnist Allison Morris, Ulster Business editor, John Mulgrew and Sunday Life Pub Spy columnist and music journalist Edwin McFee. Working alongside Hospitality Ulster, the panel will vet nominations to select the Top 100 Hospitality Businesses for 2019.

The Awards are supported by partners, Bacardi Brown-Forman, Coca-Cola, Counterpoint, Diageo, Dillon Bass, Heineken, Henderson Foodservice, Molson Coors, Richmond Marketing, Tennent’s NI and United Wine Merchants Ltd and media partners, Hospitality Review NI, Sunday Life and U105.

Northern Ireland’s Top 100 Hospitality Businesses will be unveiled at a prestigious ceremony at Titanic Belfast in February 2019.
