Every year millions of people make resolutions yet almost 80% of us fail to achieve them. Most of us strive for unrealistic goals and ultimately set ourselves up for a failure.  A significant percentage of us make resolutions linked to health and fitness.  To kick off 2016’s healthy eating and fitness resolution made by so many, the newly opened The Belfast Baking Company has created a healthy breakfast and lunch menu which counts the calories so you don’t have to!

Under the lead of award winning consultant chef, Neil Graham, the smart bakers and chefs at the Belfast Baking Company have created a host of snacks and menu options for dinners or those just wanting to grab a quick bite to go.  The menu comprises of a calorie range of lunches from 300-500 calories, and a new range of snacks including protein balls, and a range of 100 calorie muffins, perfect for before or after a workout or as part of a calorie focused diet.  The muffins contain only healthy ingredients including seeds, banana and blueberries, and are wheat free.

Commenting on the health menu launched by The Belfast Baking Company, Owner Sharon McDonald said;
“From the outset we wanted to cater for all tastes, so devising a healthy menu using fresh locally sourced food has always been our priority.  Given how many people are into their health and fitness, it was important that our menu catered for all tastes.  Working with our chefs and bakers, the new range sits perfectly across healthy food.  Already the muffins and lunch menu options are popular with a lot of our customers, as they are handy for a takeaway lunch or to sit in with a quick coffee.”

As well as being able to order by phone, the company is developing a new Belfast Baking Company App so customers can have their healthy order sitting ready to collect anytime during the day.
